I am just getting into karaoke, and I'm in the process of buying a powered mixer. I would like to purchase a Peavey XR 600 G. Does anyone have any experience with this particular mixer? I have heard that Peavey has very durable equipement. This particular mixer has dual amps (one for main, one for monitor - - 2x200) and two 9 band EQ's. It also has 7 channels. I can buy this mixer for about $450. The salesman said that he wouldn't be scared to buy a Phonic mixer with basically the same features. This mixer is $360. He said that Phonic is a company which had been making Yamaha equipment, but decided to put their own name back on their products????????? Does anyone know about this at all? Thanks. |
