Post subject:  PM Outbox explained

Someone had asked why there are PM still sitting in their outbox...

Well, they are there until the party to whom you sent it has read it. Once it is read by them, it moves to sentbox...

I hope that helps...

HI Phill hun, I might be being really thick here, but how do I pm someone, if I can't find a post on the forum from them?

I can see it on your post above but, someone offered me a backing track on my song comments and asked me to pm, I can't for the life of me find it..... DOH.....lol.

I'm sure I put a post on a few days ago asking this already but I don't think it has shown up, well, I can't find it anyway, maybe I need to book an appointment at the opticians. :D

Thanks for your help in advance :D

Good morning Tina,

Well, you can send a PM to anyone if you know their username.

To the left in the Member Area toward the bottom is a link that usually says "No new messages" That will take you to your Inbox.

From there you can send or read messages.

To send a new message click "New Post" button on the top left.

Type in the persons' username, if you are not certain you can click the "Find a Username" button and do a search.

After you have their username, enter a subject and then your message.

Click Submit to send or Preview to read it prior to sending.

You may also choose "Memberlist" to the left and see a list of all members. From there you can look for all members. Once you locate the person you wish to contact you can click the PM button and then send them a message as above.

I hope that helps.
