Let me see now...I hear Chi town is changing its moniker to Bang, Bang, My Baby Shot Me Down Town....LOL. You know I love this song and enjoy singing it...but, it's better hearing YOU sing it. And, for Christmas, I've ordered a new vest for you to wear shopping...it's police issue quality. Excellent sing my friend....My Glock 40 Cal. is in the mail...use it wisely but quickly! LOL |

mav2100 performs My Kind Of Town on Karaoke Showcase of Karaoke Scene Magazine Online: mav2100 performs My Kind Of Town on Karaoke Showcase - Alas it seems we have all run out of gas and frequent flyer miles. This “I Gotta Get Out Of Here” Challenge has be such a great party. We have been to many places and sampled many different foods and refreshments. I have had a blast. Seeing all those pink C’s tickled me so. Singer’s Showcase is a warm and wonderful community. The people are really great here.
Thank you all for helping me to remember what this place is all about, sharing my love of singing and music with others who share their love of music and singing. We are a big family joined by our passion for music. Of course, there are those who never really commit or get involved personally. One day they will see the light. LOL!
I would like to thank everyone who participated in this challenge, whether by subbing a song or supporting the singers you have made quite an impact on us all. I have loved the songs, the descriptions, the comments and the replies. You are all so imaginative and hilarious. I find myself going back to see the replies to some of the amazing comments over and over again. You should know my family thinks I am a bit insane when I sit alone at my computer and laugh and laugh. They just don’t get it. LOL! Can I get a Halelujah, brothers & sisters? You all know what I mean right?
I am subbing this song as I arrive home from my whirlwind vacation with all my good friends here at Singer’s Showcase. I do hope you all will enjoy my city with me. I have some Gino’s East Deep Dish Pizza for all of you! Pitchers of Beer and Carafes of wine! Then we will go check out that “Cloud Gate” the millennium bean! Sometimes it’s nice to come home. I hope you had as much fun as I did. Thank you for all the sweet serenades, the travel costs and the laughs.
